What if my dog won't use it?+
Most dogs are curious about flowing water and start drinking within a day or two. For hesitant dogs, place it next to their old bowl for the first few days. If they still won't take to it, you're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.
Should I get the 7L or the 4L?+
The 4L ($62.95) is for one dog under 25 lb (11 kg) — plenty for daily use. The 7L ($79.95) suits dogs over 25 lb or homes with more than one dog, and means far fewer refills. Both have the same stainless steel build, pump and triple filter — the only difference is capacity. If you're between the two, go 7L.
How do I clean it?+
Once a week: unplug, empty, and wash the three stainless steel parts by hand or in the dishwasher. Keep the pump out of the dishwasher — rinse it under the tap instead. Takes under 5 minutes, same for both sizes.
How often do I change the filter?+
Every 30 days for best results — a little sooner with heavy-shedding breeds or multiple dogs. The same filters fit both the 7L and 4L, and two replacements are included with every order.
Can I use tap water?+
Yes. The filter helps reduce impurities and minerals. In very hard-water areas, filtered water can extend filter life and reduce limescale.
Can my dog tip it over?+
Both sizes have a sturdy steel body and a non-slip base built to stay put with bigger, playful dogs.
Is it loud?+
No — the pump runs at around 30 dB, roughly a whisper. If you hear it getting louder, the water level is usually low; topping it up fixes it.
What if the pump stops working?+
